How to use the Fingering Charts for Piano Guild auditions scales, chords/cadences, arpeggios musicianship phases
These are the instructions that I give my piano students in order to prepare the Piano Guild auditions. Please, take note, my instructions are in no way replacing any interpretations of the Guild syllabus. I understand teachers may have different styles of preparing musicianship phases. I am sharing my system in this post.
Usually we are preparing a 10-piece program. We use three or four pieces from the year before, add the new pieces learned and prepare musicianship phases in scales, chords/cadences and arpeggios. They are very easy to learn using the Play Piano In All Keys Fingering Charts:
